Images from the morning walk around Temescal

This morning, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, I walked between Broadway and Telegraph Avenues, and between 40th and Clifton Streets in Oakland. I am creating a larger, more comprehensive neighborhood map, and using this map, I will hopefully attract new neighbors to Forage Oakland.

The pineapple guava.

Peaches, left out by a homeowner on Manila Street

Nigela, which is used in Indian cooking.

White nectarines, near the Wendy’s at College and Broadway Aves.

Adriatic figs.

Prickly Pear Cactus fruit.

Quince.

Grapes, unripe.

And these are just some of the findings.
